The Drafting Technology diploma program prepares students for employment in a variety of positions in the drafting field, such as drafter, CAD operator or Civil Tech based on the specialization area a student chooses to complete. Entrance RequirementsAdmissions Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Completion of high school or GED and submission of official transcript required to apply.
- Achievement of minimum program admission scores in Reading, English, and Math.
- Transfer of previous post secondary credits will be determined by the registrar.
Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.

Multiview/Basic Dimensioning provides multiview and pictorial sketching, orthographic drawing and fundamental dimensioning methods necessary to develop 2D and 3D views that completely describe machine parts for manufacture using intermediate CAD software techniques.
