First Time Applicant
- Submit the ATC Application for Admission
- Pay the one-time $25 application fee
- Take the ACCUPLACER placement test and/or turn in SAT or ACT scores.
- Submit official High School / GED Transcript
- Submit official transcripts from ALL colleges attended
- Submit Verification of Lawful Presence in the U.S.

Transfer Applicant
- Submit the ATC Application for Admission
- Pay the one-time $25 application fee
- Take the ACCUPLACER placement test or turn in SAT, ACT, Accuplacer or Compass scores taken within the last 5 years.
- Submit official High School / GED Transcript
- Submit official transcripts from ALL colleges attended. If you completed 30 semester or 45 quarter credit hours of coursework at the degree level from a TCSG-approved institution, the high school transcript is not required.
- Submit Verification of Lawful Presence in the U.S.

Re-Admission (Returning) Applicants
All documents must be resubmitted if it has been more than 5 years since your last date of attendance.
- Submit the ATC Application for Admission. After logging in, select the Returning Student option. If you previously paid the app fee, a new fee is not required
- You must meet the admissions requirements for the requested program in effect at the time of your re-admission. Accuplacer or COMPASS/ASSET test scores and high school diploma graduation status will be evaluated again by the admissions office. In some cases, you may have to re-take the Accuplacer test (a retest fee is required) if you do not meet the required college-level English and math score. - The ACCUPLACER placement test is not required if or turned in SAT, ACT, Accuplacer or Compass scores taken within the last 5 years.
- Submit official High School / GED Transcript

Home School Applicant
Applicants who were home schooled in the state of Georgia and did not attend a recognized accredited program must:
- Submit the ATC Application for Admission
- Pay the one-time $25 application fee
- Submit a Certificate of Attendance form from the local superintendent’s office or a Declaration of Intent to utilize a Home Study Program from the Georgia Department of Education verifying that the parent or legal guardian complied with the requirements of home study programs as referenced in O.C.G.A. § 20-2-690.
- Submit annual progress reports or a final transcript for the equivalent of the home-schooled student’s junior and senior years (the final progress report or transcript must include the graduation date).
- Take the ACCUPLACER placement test and/or turn in SAT or ACT scores.

Current or Ex Military Veterans
- Submit the ATC Application for Admission
- Pay the one-time $25 application fee
- Take the ACCUPLACER placement test and/or turn in SAT or ACT scores.
- Submit official High School / GED Transcript
- Submit official transcripts from ALL colleges attended
- Submit Verification of Lawful Presence in the U.S
- Submit proof of GA Residency / Verification of Lawful Presence in the US
- If not a Georgia resident, provide a copy of DD214 for proof of residency
