2022 Conference

"Back to the Future": Our New Normal?

August 11th and 12th 2022

1560 Metropolitan Pkwy. Atlanta, GA 30310

Background Information:

The Professional Development Strategic Impact Team at Atlanta Technical College is hosting its second annual Teaching, Learning, and Leadership Conference August 11-12, 2022. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for presenters to share strategies used in their professional practice. We are shifting from “pandemic” to something else, our "new normal."

In the process, we are making new meaning and new realities in the higher education space. During the COVID-19 pandemic, so many were challenged to develop innovative ways to continue to operate and continue to serve students. Now that Covid-19 will be with us for possibly a lifetime, we are charged with evaluating and re-evaluating how higher education will be impacted.

We invite presenters to submit abstracts with enough details about their intended presentation, which will allow us to include the abstract in conference publications to be made available prior to the event.

Please use the form below to provide an abstract about your presentation. The abstract should be no more than 100-150 words. Please note that abstracts may be edited. To be included, abstracts MUST be received by 5:00 PM on June 30, 2022. Send registration to Dr. Sonya McCoy Wilson at: smccoy-wilson@atlantatech.edu.
