Atlanta Technical College Welcomes New Local and Foundation Board Members 

 

Atlanta, GA (October 16, 2023) Atlanta Technical College is pleased to announce the appointment of several new Local Board members and Foundation Board trustees who will play a crucial role in advancing the mission and vision of the college.  

 

The following esteemed individuals have joined the Atlanta Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees: Allison Howard, CEO of ACH Marketing; Amy Corn, Founder and CEO of AWC Strategy Group; Dennis McGouirk, Regional Director at Atlanta Gas Light; Dr. Malika R. Wilkins, Chief External Affairs Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Atlanta Regional Commission; Tai A. Roberson, Vice President Philanthropy and Community Impact—Southeast Lead at Wells Fargo Foundation; and Nick McCarthy, President of UPS Automotive Maintenance and Engineering.  

 

Atlanta Technical College welcomes these new members to the Local Board: Dr. Frances Boykin,  

 Director, Advanced Analytics/Customer Research and Analytics, AT&T; Jevon Gibson, CEO, Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority; Veronica Maldonado-Torres, President and CEO, Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and Nick Winbush, Director, T. Dallas Smith & Co.  

 

With their diverse backgrounds, expertise, and dedication to education and workforce development, these trustees and board members will play a pivotal role in supporting Atlanta Technical College’s mission of providing quality technical education to students from all walks of life.  

 

The Atlanta Technical College Foundation is committed to ensuring the availability of scholarships, program support, and state-of-the-art facilities necessary for students to excel. By collaborating with the new board members, the Foundation aims to further strengthen these efforts and amplify the impact on student success. The members of the Local Board work alongside the trustees of the Foundation Board to ensure that Atlanta Technical College has access to the resources that are needed to provide a world class education for our students.
