Atlanta Technical College Welcomes New Members to the Local Board of Directors

Atlanta, GA – Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is proud to announce two new members to the
Atlanta Technical College Local Board of Directors, Ms. Kimberly Green, and Ms. Detra Reid. Board service for
Ms. Green and Ms. Reid officially began on July 1.

“The Local Board of Directors has always strived to represent the communities that Atlanta Technical
College serves, and the newest additions to our Board continue this tradition,” said Dr. Victoria Seals,
President, ATC. “Both Ms. Green’s and Ms. Reid’s values align with the College’s commitment to providing
lifelong educational opportunities and experiences through academic and innovative career preparation, as
well as empowering our students with the means to Start Strong, Stay Strong, and Finish Strong.”
Ms. Kimberly Green is a graduate of Clemson University and received her MBA from the University of
Connecticut. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Commercial Procurement for Coca-Cola Bottlers’
Sales and Services. She has previously worked for Diageo and Archer Daniels Midland Company, while also
serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Central States SER from 2010-2015.

Ms. Detra Reid is a graduate of Georgia State University where she received both her Bachelor and Master
of Business Administration degrees. She currently serves as a commercial real estate advisor for T. Dallas
Smith Company, and is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. She previously worked for
BB&T (now Truist) and KPMG.

In addition to these new members, the role of Board Chair will be filled by Dr. Eloisa Klementich, President
and CEO, Invest Atlanta, and the role of Vice-Chair will be filled by Ms. Charlene Craig, Senior Vice President,
Government Banking, Truist. Dr. Klementich has been on the Board since 2013, and Ms. Craig joined the
Board in 2019. “Atlanta Technical College continues to play a vital role in transforming lives and empowering
communities while also ensuring Atlanta offers the talented, skilled, and diverse workforce employers need
today,” said Dr. Klementich. “It is an honor to serve as Board Chair and further ATC’s role in fostering
economic mobility and social equity in our communities. I want to give a warm welcome to Kimberly Green
and Detra Reid as they join the board and also thank former Board Chair Darris Rollins for his invaluable
contributions to those we serve.”

The Atlanta Technical College Local Board of Directors represents the college’s service area of the City of
Atlanta and Fulton and Clayton Counties. The Local Board of Directors facilitates the delivery of programs,
services, and activities as directed by the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia, advises the
President of local industry and community needs for the programs and services to be provided by Atlanta
Technical College, and advocates within the community and in the state on issues of importance in support
of the Technical College System of Georgia and Georgia’s workforce development efforts.
