ATLANTA – On Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Atlanta Technical College, 1560 Metropolitan Parkway, SW, Atlanta, GA 30310, DWM Commissioner Al Wiggins, Jr. and ATC President Dr. Victoria Seals will unveil a transformative program. This program is set to revolutionize workforce retention and elevate employee morale by offering tailored training programs that enhance efficiency and performance.

DWM and ATC recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), underlining their commitment to employee development. This partnership will provide dedicated training programs for staff, enabling them to continue their education and obtain certification.

“Providing our employees access to a dedicated curriculum for continuing education and certifications will not only improve morale and performance but also exemplify DWM’s commitment to distinguishing ourselves as leaders in innovation, service, and value,” Commissioner Wiggins said. “We are excited to have joined forces with ATC to offer our employees such a unique opportunity for professional growth.”

“It is an honor to embark on this partnership with DWM to provide dedicated training programs for their employees. This initiative not only enhances workforce retention and morale but also aligns with our commitment to transforming communities.

Education and certification are key components in propelling our workforce towards success and innovation.” Dr. Victoria Seals said.

This partnership is a testament to our alignment with Mayor Dickens’ Moving Atlanta Forward agenda, particularly the pillar of creating a City of Opportunity for All. For more information, please visit www.atlantawatershed.org.
