Institutional Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) serves to advance the mission of Atlanta Technical College (ATC). IE processes include facilitating college-wide strategic planning, assessment activities, and providing data through institutional research. Institutional Effectiveness is the responsibility of all faculty and staff.

Atlanta Technical College (ATC) defines institutional effectiveness as the positive correlation of results to expectations. ATC engages in an institutional effectiveness process that is ongoing, integrated, and includes college-wide research-based planning, assessment, evaluation, and continuous improvement. The College’s institutional effectiveness model provides for the systematic review of the College Mission and Goals through the identification and assessment of program and student learning outcomes tied directly to the budget and strategic plan.
