The Cosmetic Esthetician program is designed to offer esthetics training for entry-level students. Completion of the program prepares students to sit for the Esthetics licensure examination given by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology. Once licensed, the student is able to work in a variety of settings including beauty salons, spas, health clubs, cosmetics stores as well as plastic surgeons' and dermatologist's offices. There are many other rewarding career paths such as a Clinical Esthetician, Waxing Specialist, Brow Specialist, Makeup Artist, Manufacturer Representative, Cosmetics Buyer, Esthetics Writer or Editor, Cosmetic Chemist and Oncology-Trained Esthetician to name a few.
